This one-of-a-kind Moroccan chalcedony specimen has an extraordinary, fabric-like landscape of blush pink, cream, and pale lavender-gray. Its delicate, undulating lines look almost like flowing water, feathers, or folded silk, with a fine sparkling druzy finish that catches the light beautifully.

Chalcedony forms when silica-rich water slowly moves through tiny openings and cavities in rock. As microscopic quartz crystals deposit layer by layer over long periods, subtle changes in the water’s chemistry, mineral content, and flow direction create the graceful bands, ripples, and raised formations seen here. The result is a natural record of many separate mineral-growth episodes—not something carved or manufactured.

A wonderfully sculptural collector specimen with intricate natural detail from every angle.
