Brazilian Amethyst with Rutile A.
Brazilian Lavender Fluorite with Rutile Inclusions
A beautiful and substantial specimen of pale lavender to smoky-purple fluorite from Brazil, featuring numerous translucent fluorite crystals with a soft glassy luster. The crystals range from delicate lavender tones to deeper smoky-purple areas, with varying degrees of transparency throughout the specimen.
One of the most distinctive features is the abundance of natural rutile inclusions, which appear as rusty brown to reddish markings and formations within and across the fluorite crystals. The warm tones of the rutile create a striking contrast against the cool lavender and nearly colorless fluorite.
The specimen has an attractive three-dimensional crystal arrangement with fluorite crystals covering a contrasting white to cream-colored matrix. Its combination of size, translucency, lavender coloration, and visible rutile inclusions makes it an especially interesting display piece.
